The event

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is one of the most prestigious running events in the UK – this year’s event takes place on Sunday 11th October. The stunning 13.1-mile route takes in many of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens. We have charity places available and this year we aim to have a biggest team ever! To run for ‘Team Brompton’ you need to pledge to raise a minimum of £495 (excluding GiftAid). You can take part as an individual or as part of a group.

Your Running Pack – We will provide you with a running vest, water bottle, bag and essential items for the day.

How Your Fundraising Helps

We are committed to supporting an ever-increasing number of children with heart and lung conditions, and their families. We are proud to be a charity that stands beside them – funding crucial support services to comfort families through some of the most fragile and frightening moments of their lives, along with vital resources and specialist medical equipment for young patients.

Our work extends far beyond hospital walls. We fund emergency accommodation for parents, provide end of life and bereavement services, and collaborate with the NHS on research projects to improve clinical outcomes. We want every family to feel supported – not only while their child is in hospital, but also at home in the community – especially during the often-overlooked months that follow a challenging admission.

Your fundraising and donations help ensure we can continue to respond where the need is greatest. Whether that’s purchasing lifesaving equipment, expanding our wellbeing services, or backing innovative programmes to support children undergoing heart surgery or receiving treatment for complex cardiac or respiratory disease.

Thank you for helping us bring comfort, care and hope to those who need it.
