We provide vital support and resources, medical equipment and services which are not normally supplied by the NHS. We work closely with the hospital teams within the paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and children's wards. We fundraise to improve the quality of life for our young patients and their families and make a real difference when it's needed most.
We rely solely on the kindness and generosity of our amazing supporters who fundraise for us and make donations so we can continue our vital work. You can take part in one of our many organised events or hold one of your own. Whatever you decide to do our fundraising team will be with you every step of the way.
Our team have first-hand experience of caring for a child with a serious illness so we are able to offer support to these children and their families before, during and after an admission. Many of our patients have life limiting conditions and will require frequent admissions and often long stays in hospital for surgery and on-going treatment for the rest of their lives.
As well as our many ongoing and exciting support projects in progress, we are currently raising funds to buy brand new monitoring equipment for the main children’s ward at Royal Brompton Hospital - to provide individually tailored, second by second, statistics for each child.
If you would like to support the appeal, and help us to reach our target, by making a donation or starting a fundraising campaign of your own you can find out how below.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved with The Brompton Fountain and meet new people, as well as gain experience and skills for your CV. We are a friendly and dedicated team looking to expand and build on the work that we can provide. If you would like to find out more about the specific roles we currently have available, or how to help out in a more general way with our fundraising events or parties, please get in touch.
We have places in various fun and exciting challenges throughout the year, from runs, walks and sky dives to obstacle courses. Get in touch to find out how you can take part and help us raise vital funds for sick children and their families.
