The Brompton Fountain offers support to families from the point of diagnosis onwards, throughout the patient journey. We understand that the difficulties of having a child with a medical condition do not stop after discharge from hospital and therefore provide services and information to help families at home, within the community.
We run a selection of very popular events for our members, including a Big Brompton BBQ and Pirate Party featuring treasure hunt, lunch, face painting and lots of exciting activities for children. All parties are very well attended and provide a fantastic opportunity to meet other families who have been through similar experiences.
We also hold activities ‘closer to home’ in various counties across the South East of England. These events are run by our local representatives and include Easter Egg hunts, coffee mornings for parents and even first aid classes for families. Our reps can put families in touch with others in their local area or with similar ages of children. For more information please contact us.
Our social media pages are extremely active, including a special ‘Closed’ Facebook group for parents/relatives and young patients only. There are new posts daily, with over 800 friendly and supportive Brompton family members getting involved, sharing their thoughts, tips and ideas.
