Through play, The Hospital Play Specialists (HPS) are able to provide your child with a wide range of creative and social activities and play opportunities, whether this is in the Playroom or at the bedside.

The HPS is here to support your child throughout their hospital experience, providing developmentally appropriate play preparation and distraction techniques.

Guided play prior to, and post procedures and surgery can help your child and their siblings deal with their feelings and any anxieties that may arise.

This holistic approach can provide a positive hospital experience and a healthy adjustment to the hospital environment.
