The Trust is the leading UK provider of respiratory care and national leaders in paediatric cardiorespiratory care, treatment of congenital heart disease and cystic fibrosis.

Research projects undertaken by the trust have a worldwide reputation, and benefit patients with both heart and lung disease, the main partner being the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London.
